Having a commitment to children, objectivity, tenacity and great communication skills are several of the key characteristics that make up a great CASA volunteer. We’ll teach you the rest during our comprehensive volunteer training program that empowers each individual to become effective advocates for our children.

Our core training covers topics such as cultural competency, the dynamics of child abuse/neglect, child protective service laws and the child protection system. We also train on investigation skills and report writing during this instruction-based, interactive forum for individuals who are interested in becoming a CASA advocates.
