Commitment to children, objectivity, tenacity and great communication skills are several of the key characteristics of great CASA volunteers. We’ll teach you the rest during our comprehensive volunteer training program  that empowers individuals to become effective advocates.

Core Trainings, covering topics such as cultural competence, the dynamics of child abuse/neglect, the law and the child protection system, investigation skills, and report writing, are offered two times a year and provide an instruction-based, interactive forum for individuals who are interested in becoming a CASA volunteer.
